All students participate in several field trips during the school year. The children love the new experiences that field trips provide.  Listed below are the yearly field trips taken by the Three’s,   Four’s and Five’s. Field trips may be subject to change.

Three’s Classes

KINGSBROOK ANIMAL HOSPITAL: Follow Bentz Street south. Take left onto South Street. Take right onto Market Street. At second light take right onto New Design Road. Kingsbrook Animal Hospital is on the right at 5322 New Design Road.

SURREYBROOKE GARDEN CENTER: Follow Bentz Street south. Turn right onto Patrick Street/Route 40 West. Follow Route 40 West past the Fredericktowne Mall. The Garden Center Entrance will be on the left side about 5 miles from the Fredericktowne Mall.

SUMMERS’ PUMPKIN FARM: Take Bentz Street to right onto W. Patrick Street. Continue straight on W. Patrick Street until it shifts to Route 40 West. Stay on 40 past the Fredericktowne Mall. Get in the left lane and follow sign for Alt 40/Braddock Heights. Once on Alt 40 go to 1st light and turn left onto Mt. Phillip Road. Make a right onto Butterfly Lane. Summers’ Farm is on your right at 5614 Butterfly Lane.

JUNIOR FIRE COMPANY:  Visit the three’s at the school.

 

Four’s Classes

FOUNTAIN ROCK NATURE CENTER: Take Second Street to Rosemont Ave. light . Go through the light onto Rt. 15 North. Turn right onto Biggs Ford Road. Proceed approximately 1 mile and turn right onto Fountain Rock Road. Proceed 1/4 mile and make left turn into Fountain Rock Park. Nature Center is building on the left.

INDEPENDENT HOSE COMPANY: Follow West Second Street to Rosemont Ave. Turn left at the light. Proceed to the third set of stoplights and turn left onto Baughman’s Lane. Fire House is on the left . Please enter at flag pole entrance.

SUMMERS’ PUMPKIN FARM: Take Bentz Street to right onto W. Patrick Street. Continue straight on W. Patrick Street until it shifts to Route 40 West. Stay on 40 past the Fredericktowne Mall. GREEN MEADOWS PETTING FARM: Take I-270 South to Highway 80 East Exit (Fingerboard Road). Go 2 1/2 miles East on Highway 80 to Green Meadows Farm on the left.

KINGSBROOK GIANT GROCERY STORE: Follow Bentz Street south.Take left onto South Street. Take right onto Market Street. At second light take right onto New Design Road. Kingsbrook Shopping Center is on the right at 5316 New Design Road.

Five’s Classes

ROSE HILL MANOR: Take Bentz Street to left onto West Church Street. Take a left onto Market Street/355. Proceed through town. Pass Thomas Johnson High School and take a left into Rose Hill Manor at 1611 North Market Street.

WAY OFF BROADWAY: Follow Bentz Street south. Turn right onto Patrick Street/Route 40 West. Follow Patrick Street and turn right onto Willowdale Drive. Way Off Broadway is located at 5 Willowdale Dr. in the Willowtree Plaza.

THE GREAT FREDERICK FAIR: Take Bentz Street to West Church Street. Cross over Market and East Street. Continue on until Highland Street. Make a right onto Highland Street. Make a right onto Monroe Street. Turn into Fairgrounds gate 3 for parking.

FITNESS FIRST HEALTH CLUB: Follow Bentz Street south. Turn right onto Patrick Street/Route 40 West. Proceed through several lights and make right onto Baughman’s Lane. Go to first light and make left onto Key Parkway. Follow to the backside of West Ridge Plaza on the left. Fitness First is at 1051-B West Patrick Street.

MARYLAND ZOO IN BALTIMORE: Take 70 East to 695 North (towards Towson), to 83 South. Take exit 7 (West) to Druid Park Lake Drive. Follow signs to the zoo – main entrance.

SOUTH MOUNTAIN CREAMERY: From Bentz Street, turn right onto W Patrick Street/MD-144W. Continue to follow W Patrick Street past the Fredericktowne Mall. Turn slight left onto US-40 Alt W/Old National Pike. Continue to follow US-40 Alt W for about 8 miles. Turn left onto Bolivar Road. End at 8305 Bolivar Road.
